What we know
about you.
Short version: there are no accounts, and most of what you do here stays in your own browser. We don't build ad profiles, and what we show you is never for sale.

What your browser stores
sort.green keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so the site is useful across visits. This never leaves your device unless you tell us something directly:
- Recent searches — so you can pick one back up (kept to the last six).
- Your theme — whether you chose light or dark.
- Saved items & alert preferences — the listings you bookmark and the alerts you switch on.
- A feedback draft — kept only long enough to send, plus a note that you've dismissed a one-time tip.
You can clear all of it any time by clearing site data in your browser — nothing here depends on a server-side copy.
What we don't do
We don't ask you to sign in, and we don't track you around the web. We don't sell, rent, or trade what you search for or look at. Crucially, the order we show results in is never for sale — no seller can pay to move up the list.
Feedback you send us
If you use “Share feedback” or tell us a read felt off, we keep what you wrote so real people can read it and improve how sort.green reads listings. Please don't include anything you'd consider sensitive — a note about a product is all we need.
Others we rely on
We load fonts and icons from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address as part of serving them. When you click through to buy, you leave for the retailer's own site — Amazon, Brown Living, or EcoKaari — where their own privacy terms apply. Some of those links are affiliate links (see below).
Affiliate links
Some links on sort.green are affiliate links and may earn us a commission. As an Amazon Associate, sort.green earns from qualifying purchases. It never changes what we show you or the order we show it in.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Questions about your information? Use Share feedback — it reaches the same people.
